This news was a huge bummer considering Spider-Man has been used exceptionally well in the MCU under the guidance of Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige. The exclusion of PS3 games in markets without PS Now streaming services was a massive omission from the expanded PS Plus service. Even in places with the service, the fact that PS3 games are only accessed via streaming and not downloads was a point of contention....

For starters, Sony apparently has not yet officially confirmed the name of the console. According to Wired’s story, the console is being referred to as a “next-gen console” by Mark Cerny, the Lead System Architect for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) as well as its upcoming successor.
