The store will be opened on 29 November 2019 in MyTOWN Shopping Centre, KL in partnership with Lumahgo New Retail Sdn Bhd. The company claims that it’s the largest Taobao store in the country, with 5000 sqf of retail space. It also happens to be the second Taobao Store in the country, with the first one being in VIVA Shopping Mall.
In the meantime, a preview of the store will be available from tomorrow, 8 until 10 November. A few retailers and brands that will populate the actual store will be here, at the roadshow in the Town Park of MyTOWN Shopping Centre.
These include the likes of DirectD, Bigbix Asia, Redtick, Deep Furniture and Vivid Malaysia. These retailers will also be part of the Alibaba 11.11 sale this year for the first time, according to Alibaba.
