The source of the specifications was supposedly pulled from a section of Newegg Insider, an official blog for the US-based online retailer, and posted it on Reddit. It should be made clear that the information listed is based purely on speculation, as AMD still isn’t letting the cat out of the bag. Moving on, the table seems to hint at the possibility of there being not one, but three SKUs that will launch on 28 October: the Radeon RX 6700 XT, RX 6800 XT, and the RX 6900 XT. The latter clearly the top-tier GPU and most likely to be based around Navi 21.
What is definitely interesting about the card though, is that it has 80 Compute Units (CUs), which translates to 5120 Stream Processors. Moreover, the table also lists down the card’s possible graphics memory configuration, 16GB GDDR6, and that it will run with a 256-bit memory bus and have a TDP of 300W. As its speed, the RX 6900 XT is listed as having a base clock of 1.5GHz, but other reports suggest that its boost clocks could reach as high as 2.5GHz. That’s a staggering number, especially when you factor in the current complications that some 3rd party NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 cards are facing.
Again, this tablet is based purely on speculation, so there’s a very high possibility that only some of the specifications listed here will make it to the final product. In any case, we’ll just have to wait until next month to find out. (Source: Reddit via Videocardz [1] [2])
