Based on multiple sources, the specifications and benchmark numbers of the Ryzen 5 600 were listed on CPU-Z and the Cinebench R15 and R20 tests. As well as 3DMark Time Spy and Unigine’s Heaven 4 and Superposition. Specs-wise, it seems that the CPU will have a 6-cores, 12-threads setup, and a base and boost clock of 3.6GHz and 4.2GHz, respectively. Further, the CPU was tested using 16GB of DDR4 RAM running at 3200MHz. Oddly enough, the motherboard used in the test was an X470 motherboard from Gigabyte.

In terms of performance, the Ryzen 5 3600 is shown to be more or less on par with Intel’s own 9th generation Core i7-9700K CPU. Either beating it or chasing right up to the rival processor. Having said that, the alleged performance numbers aren’t consistent; one of the slides actually shows the Ryzen 5 3600 outperforming a Ryzen 7 2700X CPU in one game, with mention of the Core i7-9700K not even present.

AMD may have spoken at length about its new 3rd generation Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 CPUs during Computex 2019 and E3 2019. It is unclear whether or not AMD intends to launch the Ryzen 5 3600 alongside with its Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 brethren, or at a later date.
