When it comes to specifications, the every new Mac mini now starts with a quad-core CPU configuration, up to six-core CPU variants as well. In addition, the new Mac mini is also compatible with up to 64GB RAM capacity and SSDs as well. This security chip is found on the newly introduced MacBook Air as well. Aside from security, the T2 chip also features HEVC video transcoding that is up to 30 times faster. Design-wise, the new Mac mini looks to have the same form factor as its predecessor, albeit with a new space grey finish.  Apple has mentioned that the new Mac mini has a starting price of US$799 (about RM3,342) and will be made available in selected regions starting 7 November 2018.
