As per ASUS’ presentation, the StudioBook One is made in collaboration with NVIDIA and as such, was designed from the ground up with some unique features. As you would expect, the laptop is relatively thin when closed. When opened up, however, the back of the display opens up at a slight angle. Allowing it to suck in air from the bottom and exhausting it out at the top.
Of course, this design means that ASUS has also shifted the internals of the laptop from the base to the back of the display as well. On that note, the StudioBook One’s 15.6-inch display has 4K resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, 100% Adobe RGB and a Delta E colour accuracy of less than one. Additionally, it’s also Pantone Validated made with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. As for its innards, the StudioBook One is powered by an Intel Core i9-9980HK, 64GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, plus an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 GPU. There’s also a 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 SSD inside, as well as a 90WHr, 12-cell lithium polymer battery to power it all up. Ports-wise, you’re looking at three Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, all of which are capable of outputting 8K resolution on three external displays simultaneously.
The ASUS ProArt StudioBook One is already available in Malaysia and retails at a pretty steep SRP of RM49999.
