The first free PlayStation Plus game for August – that you can already download – is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Campaign Remastered. As the name implies, it’s the remaster of the 2009 game’s singleplayer campaign. If you need a reminder, it’s the one with the controversial “No Russian” mission.

The title is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, published by Devolver Digital, and it was first announced back in E3 2019. It’s interesting to see a brand new game being free, even if it is only for PlayStation Plus subscribers. As mentioned, you can already download Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Campaign Remastered. As for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, you’ll have to wait until 4 August, when the game launches. Both games will be available to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers until 31 August.
