According to the company, its WARP client for macOS and Windows utilizes the same Wireguard protocol as per their mobile counterpart. Similarly, the basic service will be made available for free on both platforms. The company is already working to add the support for the premium version of the VPN service, WARP+ for the two platforms.  No pricing was mentioned in the announcement but Cloudflare plans to offer discounts for subscribers to add new devices and they will be among the first to be able to test out WARP for macOS as well as Windows. Cloudflare also stated that the company will work on WARP client for Linux after it releases the macOS and Windows version. However, it has yet to reveal the exact availability date for the beta client which means that you have to stay tuned for further announcement from Cloudflare.
