The studio is now simply known as 20th Television and unsurprisingly, it isn’t Disney’s only asset that’s gotten a name change. In addition to the film and movie studio, Fox 21 Television Studios has also been renamed as Touchstone Television. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because that’s a TV brand Disney had used up until 2007. Just to recap, that name change also applies to Searchlight Pictures, which was formerly known as Fox Searchlight Pictures.

In any case, the new names and end cards are expected to begin showing up on respective TV shows later this year; this includes shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers, to name a few. On that note, all currently existing episodes that are currently being stream and available in digital libraries will continue to show the end cards and logos before the renaming. Disney officially acquired 21st Century Fox from the Fox Corporation last year to the sum of US$71.3 billion (~RM300 billion), but only included the film and TV studios and not the Fox broadcast network.
