In general, Xiaomi is leading the way when it comes to making sure that its phones are able to support Malaysia’s 5G network. In fact, the POCO F4 GT is actually the 21st model from Xiaomi and the sixth POCO phone to join DNB’s list of 5G devices. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series is now part of the list too. Specifically, all three models in the family including the standard S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra are now capable of connecting to DNB 5G network. On the other hand, the 5G-capable Galaxy A 2022 models including the Galaxy A73, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A33 have made their way to the list as well. Prior to this, only the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra supported DNB’s 5G network. Last but not least, DNB has also added the vivo X80 and X80 Pro which have just launched in Malaysia yesterday into its list. At the moment, one can only connect to the 5G network by using Yes 5G SIM card which is currently available as an RM30 per month prepaid plan or RM49 per month if you prefer a postpaid plan instead.
