According to the Twitter account known as PlayStation Game Size, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut comes in at 58.721GB as it registers with the PS5. That’s nearly 50% more space taken up than the base game, which uses 39.338GB. Which is about fair. Sucker Punch Productions did say the Iki Island is about a third of the whole Tsushima.

This is especially the case for said features. There’s the additions that make use of the DualSense controller’s exclusive features, which are haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Then there’s the overall improvement to graphical performance, as well as Japanese lip sync, which was glaringly omitted from the base game. It’s worth mentioning again that this pre-loading is only available to those who are jumping straight into the Diretor’s Cut. Those who experienced the base game won’t be able to download the upgrade until 20 August comes around, which is just a week away. (Source: @PlaystationSize / Twitter)
