We’ll start by getting the obvious points out of the way and that is, regardless of the series, all the RTX 3070 cards here are based on NVIDIA’s 8nm Ampere GPU architecture. And come with 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory running at 14Gbps, 5888 CUDA Cores, a 256-bit memory bus, and of course, each variant will have different boost clocks and fan configurations.

In the case of Gigabyte’s Eagle series, the card will be available in two configurations, a non-OC version and an OC version. Specifically, the former will run at the RTX 3070’s stock boost clock of 1725MHz, while the OC variant runs slightly higher at 1770MHz. Regardless of clockspeed, both cards are fitted with Gigabyte’s triple-fan cooling solution. Moving down the line is the RTX 3070 Vision OC. This variant ships out at a boost clock of 1815MHz, and sports a sleek, streamlined white design, complete with the brand’s triple-fan Windforce cooling solution. As for the Gaming OC, the card is clearly designed for gamers that value a balance between form and function; with a boost clock of 1815MHz, the card sports a no-nonsense triple-fan design and keeps RGB LEDs to a bare minimum.

Last but not least is the AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 Master. As with all of Gigabyte’s AORUS products, this card is designed to perform and look aggressive. The card has been tweaked to run at a boost clock of 1845MHz out of the box, making it the fastest card of the lot. At least, on paper. Additionally, the card utilises Gigabyte’s blade stack fan design and alternate spinning airflow technology. That’s designed to reduce turbulence and maximise cooling of the massive heatsink that’s attached to the GPU. In order to power them up, all cards from the Eagle series to the Gaming series will require both an 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power ports, while the AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 Master will need two 8-pin PCIe power ports. On that note, the latter has three DisplayPort 1.4a and three HDMI 2.1 ports, while the remaining cards ship out with two of each port.

Pricing for Gigabyte’s GeForce RT 3070 cards starts from RM2599 for its Eagle, RM2799 for the Eagle OC, RM2929 for the Vision OC, RM2899 for the Gaming OC, and RM3099 for the AORUS Master variant. All cards are already available for purchase at all authorised dealers and PC shops, but as a forewarning, some shops may only sell them bundled with other PC parts, and not separately. Due to the current supply shortage of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series cards.
