All three companies made their announcements via their social media accounts. As part of the announcement, both cinemas will also be refunding tickets for shows during these dates. They will automatically refund online purchases within 14 working days. Although, TGV promises to get them done as soon as possible. If you’ve already bought tickets from an outlet, hold on to it until after 31 March for the refund.
Known also as the Movement Control Order, this means a number of things are being restricted. One of them is public gatherings, and a packed cinema hall does qualify as one. And it’s not considered an essential service either, which are about the only services that must still be operating during this time.
On the bright side, since this is not a complete lockdown, it’s still okay for you to go out and get food and other essentials. It’s also still okay to have food delivered to you.
