The HONOR Watch GS 3 is decked out with an array of sensors for blood oxygen monitoring (SpO2), sleep tracking, and an 8-channel heart rate sensor with a 97% accuracy rate. It is water resistant up to 5 ATM and has dual-band frequency GPS for phone-less workout tracking. The new watch comes with over 100 workout modes, including 10 professional sports modes, and can automatically detect six different activities. Users can also use the watch for navigation, with HONOR giving cycling as an example of when this would be useful. As for connectivity, the watch includes NFC for contactless payments, Bluetooth 5.0, and has a speaker and microphone for calls when connected to your phone. The watch has a music player with 4GB of storage and can also function as a camera shutter, although the latter apparently only works with HONOR’s Magic UI operating system. The watch is powered by an Apollo4 chipset, runs on LiteOS, and is compatible with both Android and iOS. It is fitted with a 451 mAh battery that gives it a 14-day battery life, though it can only last 30 hours with GPS tracking. It charges with a magnetic connector and HONOR said that five minutes of charging will give you a full day of use. The HONOR Watch GS 3 comes in Ocean Blue, Classic Gold, and Midnight Black, with the gold colourway being coated in 85% gold. The first two variants sport a Nappa leather strap for CNY1499 (~RM986) while the black version only has a silicone strap at CNY1299 (~RM855). It is available for pre-order now in China but HONOR has not announced availability for other markets. (Source: HONOR [1][2])
