In its essence, the P Smart 2019 is a mid-range device that is powered by Huawei’s own Hisilicon Kirin 710 processor just like the Y9 2019 that was released into Malaysia last month. Instead of a rectangular display notch, the P Smart 2019 featured a teardrop-shaped notch instead which houses either 8MP or 16MP selfie camera depending on the respective variant of the device.
The phone comes standard with a 6.21-inch Full HD+ display alongside 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also features a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 2MP sensors as well as a 3400mAh and micro USB port which is an odd inclusion for a 2019 model. The Huawei P Smart 2019 can now be obtained in selected markets within Europe starting from 2 January onwards with a starting price of EU 250 (about RM 1184). However, it is not known whether the phone will be released at this side of the world anytime soon. (Source: Huawei UK)
