For the regular iPhone 13 and its mini variant, Apple will be offering 128GB as the smallest storage option. Said options then go on with the usual choices of 256GB and 512GB. This closes off the 64GB option which was still available on the current generation iPhone 12. As for the Pro models, there is the additional 1TB option. This corroborates reports from earlier in the year by Wedbush analysts and Front Page Tech.
The iPhone models of this year will also likely face a similar issue as the iPhone 12: chip supply shortage. That being said, Kuo claims that this will have “a limited impact on iPhone 13 shipments”. In fact, the investor report notes that “iPhone 13 shipments in 2021 can grow by more than 10%” year-on-year compared to iPhone 12 shipments last year. Apple is set to stream its next event on 14 September, which spills into 15 September local time. We’ll find out for sure what Apple has planned for this year’s iPhone lineup, and if all the leaks so far end up holding true. (Source: 9to5Mac)
