Of course, there are a few caveats to this deal. The first and most important one is that the kit gives your Myvi Level 2 autonomous driving. In other words, while the car will handle turning, acceleration and braking on its own, you’ll still need to pay full attention behind the wheel as if you’re driving yourself. Another caveat, and specifically for this Kommu kit, is that the company only has kits for the third generation Perodua Myvi. Third, there’s the matter of if the use of this kit requires the approval of the Road Transport Department (JPJ). Kommu is selling its KommuAssist Myvi bundle on Shopee for RM3599. That being said, the company says that it is limited to 50 units only, and at the time of wiring, it looks like the number has gone down to 33.
