A case claimed to be for the tablet shows a few changes to the tablet’s design. The rear camera cutout suggests either a second sensor or a flash. Four cutouts split between the top and the bottom also suggests stereo speakers.
One cutout at the top suggests that the 3.5mm jack remains. Round the bottom an elongated cutout remain. That said, it doesn’t look long enough to accommodate a USB-C plug, so it’s likely that the Lightning connector will be making a return.
Assuming the iPad mini 5 really makes use of the new iPad Pro design, it’s possible that the iPad mini 5 would probably be able to make use of the new Apple Pencil.
