The Motorola X30 Pro sports a 10-bit 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm, with between 8GB and 12GB of RAM and it can be configured with up to 512 GB of storage. The main focus of the X30 Pro is obviously its imaging system, as it is the first ever smartphone to pack the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor from Samsung. The impressive 1/1.22” main camera can record up to 8K 30fps, and if you don’t want to use all 200MP in order to save space, it offers 16-in-1 binning for a pixel size of 2.56µm. Other cameras in its rear arsenal are the 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and the 50MP ultrawide which doubles as the sensor for macro photography. Up front, the punch hole cutout houses a 60MP selfie shooter with 4-in-1 pixel binning. The X30 Pro runs on a 4,610mAh battery, which Motorola claims can be fully charged in 19 minutes via the built-in 125W wired charging support. The latter is the second-fastest charging speed available on a smartphone, beaten only by the 150W charging support on the realme GT Neo 3 and the OnePlus 10T. Besides that, the new Motorola flagship is also capable of 50W wireless charging. The Motorola X30 Pro comes in white and black colourways with a very attractive starting price of CNY3,699 (~RM2,439) for the 8GB+128GB configuration, and tops out at CNY4,299 (~RM2,835) for 12GB+512GB.
