The standalone app offers an easy and simple way for users to access logins details already stored in their Firefox browser. All you have to do is log in with your existing Firefox account and then import all your password on to your mobile device. The app can also be set as the default autofill service on your Android device. Passwords stored in Lockbox are securely synced to the app and Firefox browser. Mozilla implemented a 256-bit encryption, which is a tamper-resistant block cypher technology, to lock down the passwords. For additional security, the app can also be locked by using fingerprint or facial recognition if your mobile device supports the feature. Firefox Lockbox is now available to download in the Google Play Store. Do note that the app only supports mobile devices running on Android 7.0 and above, and the Firefox browser on Android, obviously. (Source: Mozilla, PC Magazine // Image: PC Magazine)
