Besides the “Arkham Legacy” title, Sabi also hints at the possibility of the sequel featuring Batman’s “extended family” as playable characters. According to PC Gamer, this could include an ensemble of heroes to choose from with upgrade trees and different costumes. In addition, WB Games Montreal, the studio responsible for the prequel, Batman: Arkham Origins, also released a three-second teaser trailer, back in September. The animation details four different symbols with the words “Capture the Knight”, written in both English and French. Unsurprisingly, WB Games Montreal didn’t follow up the trailer with any additional information. But, if you continue reading the comments that followed after, many fans speculate that the design of those symbols are possible variations used by the Court of Owls, a secretive assassin organisation that exists within the Batman universe. If that is true, then it’s highly possible that the main antagonist in the unannounced sequel will be the supervillain, Talon.

That said, it’s been rumoured that the upcoming Batman title will be arriving soon. And the reason WB Games Montreal is taking longer than usual is that the studio doesn’t want to have a repeat performance issue fiasco, just like Batman: Arkham Knight did with the PC version of the game.
