A new website and Twitter account has been set up to make the announcement, alongside a teaser trailer on the Aniplex YouTube channel. Though they don’t really reveal much besides the fact that the NieR: Automata anime adaptation is happening. According to DualShockers, the adaptation will be handled by A-1 Pictures. A subsidiary of Aniplex, the studio is responsible for many popular shows like the Sword Art Online, Seven Deadly Sins, Black Butler and Fairly Tale series, just to name a few. 86 is also one of the best shows out there currently, and the second season isn’t even done yet. But back to NieR: Automata. There’s no release date for the TV show adaptation just yet. But considering the announcement was just recently made, it will likely be awhile before we get more news on that front.
