To be precise, the site says that sources close to it say that the RTX 3060 Ti may launch as early as 17 November. That’s an ambitious launch date, especially when you consider the fact that NVIDIA very recently just launched its GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card for the mid-range market. Beyond the speculation, the post doesn’t contain any new or interesting detail about the RTX 3060 Ti that we don’t already know. On that note, we already know through a GPU-Z validation that the card will feature 4864 CUDA cores, have 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory running at a speed of 14Gbps, a 256-bit memory bus, and 80 ROPs. The card also seems to have a base and boost clock of 1410MHz and 1665MHz. The CUDA core count notwithstanding, these specifications are nearly identical to the RTX 3070.
NVIDIA has not officially confirmed or denied these leaks. On another note, gamers are now awaiting the performance benchmarks of AMD’s new Navi 21-powered Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card, giving us something else to look forward to. As with all rumours, the standard disclaimer of salt consumption and scepticism apply, so don’t get too invested in this particular bit news.
