Specifically, the OnePlus 7 Pro’s main camera scored an average of 111 points on the mobile photography site’s benchmark tests. Just one point less than the Galaxy S10 5G and P30 Pro’s identical score of 112 points. For its motorize pop-up selfie camera, the OnePlus 7 Pro has a score of 86 points, which clearly above average, but not as good as the selfie cameras on the other two flagships. Breaking it down further, the OnePlus 7 Pro’s photography obtained an average score of 118 points, with the phone scoring highest marks in the autofocus department. In the video department, the phone only scored 98 points. Interestingly enough, that’s also just one point less than the P30 Pro’s own video performance.

Specs-wise, the OnePlus 7 Pro’s triple main camera setup utilises a combination of Sony’s 48MP IMX586 Quad-Bayer sensor, an 8MP f/2.4 lens, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor. Given the DxOMark’s rating, we definitely would like to try out the phone and its camera for ourselves, once it officially launches in Malaysia next week. (Source: DxOMark)
