And they all seem to be very obscure games at that, making them no big losses for prospective PS5 owners. Probably the best known among them is Hitman Go: Definitive Edition. And it’s not that huge a loss either. Besides improved graphics, there’s no difference between this and the mobile versions of the game. It seems a waste to play such a game on the PS5, and it’s one of the rare cases where the game is better suited for phones than a full on console.
That being said, if you’re into VR, then there’s a reason here to keep your PS4 around after you’ve gotten the PS5. It’s DWVR, and as the name may suggest, it’s a VR title. It’s worth mentioning at this point that the existing PSVR kit works with the upcoming console. SIE confirmed this when addressing the compatibility of the DualShock 4 controller with the next generation console. Of the over 4000 games that the PS4 has, 10 is a surprisingly small number of games that will not work with the PS5. Of course, the same can’t be said about generations older than the PS4.
