As you can tell from the name, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom 12GB special edition comes with 12GB of RAM, instead of 8GB found in the standard model. It also comes with its own exclusive Ocean Blue colour. Beyond that, the special edition phone is identical to its standard version, which was brought to our shores back in May.
But to quickly recap anyway, the phone comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, 256GB of storage, and a 4065mAh battery. Its triple camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. The front-facing camera is a 16MP popup unit. The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom 12GB Special Edition is available for pre-order as we speak until 6 November. It will then be available for purchase a day after, on 7 December, for RM3399 which is identical to the original Reno 10x Zoom when it first launched in Malaysia.
As for the store itself, OPPO’s flagship store looks a lot like other concept stores of its kind, only it’s a lot more spacious. In it, you’ll get to see the brand’s latest phones, including the Reno 10x Zoom 12GB Special Edition. It will also double as the official service centre, so customers can return to the place their phone was bought to them looked into, should the need arise (Source: OPPO Malaysia. Image: OPPO Malaysia)
