The logic behind this pairing is very solid though as the 55-inch Momentum display is one of the first displays in the market to have received the Design for Xbox certification. Equipped with a VA panel, it is also a certified DisplayHDR 1000 and AMD FreeSync Premium display. Aside from that, the Momentum is also able to deliver 120Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution and supports variable refresh rate (VRR) through its HDMI 2.1 port. PC users can even push the monitor’s refresh rate further as it supports 144Hz via DisplayPort. The monitor also comes standard with integrated Bowers & Wilkins 2.1 speakers which has 40W RMS output together with DTS sound enhancement. Not to forget, there is also a feature called Ambiglow which projects a halo of light that matches the colour of the image on the display to the rear wall in order to create a more immersive viewing experience. In case you are wondering, Philips Monitor Malaysia has noted on its Facebook page that the bundled console was sourced from Japan. In terms of availability, the Xbox Series X Momentum bundle can be obtained exclusively through Philips Monitor Malaysia’s official store on Lazada but do note that there are only a handful of units available and this offer will only last until tomorrow, 21 August.
