The duration of the EMCO begins from 10 May and will end on 23 May 2020. During this period, all business activities are not allowed and visits into the area are prohibited. In addition, nobody within the cordoned-off area will be allowed to exit until the lifting of the EMCO as well. While our country has seen overwhelmingly positive results in reducing the COVID-19 infection rate, we are clearly not out of the woods yet. As it stands, the Prime Minister has just announced that the Conditional MCO (CMCO) will be extended by an additional four weeks, pushing back the original end date of the CMCO on 12 May to 9 June 2020. So, please. Let’s all remember to stay safe, adopt good hygiene practices, and stay at home as much as you can. If you absolutely must go out, practice social distancing between each other.
