To get started, iOS users need only download the PS4 Remote Play app from the Apple App Store. On a related note, you’ll need to make sure you’re iPhone or iPad is at least running iOS 12.1. You’ll also need to ensure that your PS4 console is running the latest OS version. From there, all you need to do is to pair your iOS device, be it iPhone or iPad, to your PS4 and you’re good to go.
The way it works is comparable, if not completely identical to the experience on an Xperia smartphone. Your controls are on-screen, together with the UI of the PS4. The only caveat to the Remote Play app (for now, anyway) is that you can’t use a DualShock 4 with it. As it currently stands, you can play the PS4 on PC, Mac, as well as iOS. If you’re looking to do the same for Android phones that are not Xperia, you won’t be able to do it through the Google Play Store, oddly enough. (Source: Apple via Engadget)
