Being a compact variant, you’re not wrong to assume that it might not get all of the bells and whistles featured on its larger sibling. In fact, missing from the new Razer Leviathan V2 X is the internal 20mm tweeter drivers, THX Spatial Audio support, and an accompanying subwoofer. But on the flip side, it still packs the 48 x 95 mm full range drivers and 105 mm passive radiators, as well as featuring a frequency response of 85 Hz to 20 kHz, and a max volume output of 90 dB. Besides that, the brand’s new mini soundbar measures at 400mm in length and weighs at only 845 g, which is obviously much smaller and lighter than its full-sized sibling. Additionally, the Leviathan V2 X also comes with a custom 10-band EQ, a USB-C port for both Power Delivery and PC connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0 support. The latter is actually somewhat a downgrade from the original model, which is equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 instead. Not exactly a deal breaker, but it’s something to note if you’re particular about your wireless connectivity options. Of course, also retained from the Leviathan V2 is the Razer Chroma RGB lighting system, which comes with customisable patterns and support in-game dynamic lighting effects. Like the original, it is offered as a single light strip (albeit shorter) situated underneath the mini soundbar’s body. The Razer Leviathan V2 X is now available in Malaysia and, as mentioned earlier, is priced at RM 499. Those interested may purchase the new mini soundbar via local RazerStores, the brand’s online store, as well as authorised retailers and online shopping partners. (Source: Razer [1] [2])
