The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro does almost everything right as a PS5 controller with more options. As you’d expect, there are two pairs of extra paddles at the back, which you’d have come to expect from these kinds of controllers. It also comes with an additional pair of shoulder buttons. All six of these extra buttons are remappable. In addition to extra buttons, you also get two additional thumbstick caps – a pair of tall concave ones, and another short convex pair. Trigger actuation can also be customised, another expected feature of these expensive controllers. Then there’s the 8-way D-pad, which would’ve been amazing for fighting game players if it wasn’t in the wrong spot. With the expected basics out of the way, we come to in-house tech that Razer is giving its Wolverine V2 Pro. The main one is really the HyperSpeed Wireless tech that you’ve probably seen with the brand’s more recent products. Then there are the Mecha-Tactile buttons that promise quicker actuation and longer life cycle. As you’d expect though, Pro-style controllers don’t come cheap. In fact, the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro has an asking price of RM1249 locally. That being said, the company’s official online store still lists the controller as being out of stock, which is usually the case when the company puts up something it either hasn’t announced, or just had its veils freshly lifted. At any rate, you can read more about it on the official product page linked below. (Source: Razer [1], [2])
