Rockstar has announced that there will be a Red Dead Redemption 2 Official Companion App for Android and iOS. As mentioned, you can check the in-game map using the app. you can pan and zoom, set waypoints and mark areas of interest by tapping on the screen of your device.
But in addition, the app will also display other in-game stats as well as main character Arthur’s journal. This make the RDR2 Companion App a lot more useful than the one for GTA V, without actually tying an in-game mechanic to the app. The Red Dead Redemption 2 Companion App will be available at the same time as the game itself.
