According to the official Resident Evil Twitter account, the three games mentioned will be made available on the current generation consoles. And with their arrival on the new generation machines come visual enhancements. Presumably, this will be of the ray tracing variety, as well as higher resolutions and smoother frame rates. After all, these are the key improvements in performance that the new console generation promises over the previous one.

Those who currently own these games on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be eligible for a digital upgrade at no additional cost. pic.twitter.com/MNPZcZBl7i — Resident Evil (@RE_Games) March 2, 2022 When these go live, PC versions of these RE games will also get the visual upgrades at no cost. If you own a copy of these games on the PS4, your PS5 upgrade will also be free. That being said, there’s no dates provided as to when this will happen. The official Resident Evil Twitter account says later this year, and that’s all that we have to go on. If you own the three games mentioned and love them, then this will be a reason to give them another playthrough. At least it will keep you busy as you wait for the much rumoured Resident Evil 4 remake. (Source: Capcom / Twitter)
