Before we get into that, let’s quickly get the minimum and the recommended system specs out of the way. The minimum your system will have to have to run RDR2 is as follows:
OS: Windows 7 – Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300RAM: 8GBGPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GBHDD Space: 150GBSound Card: DirectX compatible
These, on the other hand, are what Rockstar recommends for the game:
OS: Windows 10 – April 2018 Update (v1803)CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500XRAM: 12GBGPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GBHDD Space: 150GBSound Card: DirectX compatible
The one thing the two have in common is the 150GB of storage space required. This is about 50% more space needed than the PS4 version, which needed 99GB. But to be fair, Rockstar has made graphical and technical improvements for the PC version that warrants the increased space taken up. (Source: Rockstar Games via TechSpot, Polygon)
