The reveal was made via a trailer on YouTube. It starts by showing what looked like the iconic goggle lights, which turn out to be lights on a gun. It looks like Sam Fisher will also be adopting the codename Zero while he is a Rainbow Six Siege Operator. He does have some voice lines, but it doesn’t sound like Michael Ironside, longtime voice actor for the character. While Sam Fisher has made cameos in the Ghost Recon series – both Wildlands and Breakpoint – he was not playable. With his addition into Rainbow Six: Siege, it would be the first time Sam Fisher is playable Since Splinter Cell: Blacklist from back in 2013. But if you’re looking for a proper Splinter Cell game,it’s probably better to not hold your breath for it. The closest thing we have to a new Splinter Cell entry right now is an anime being worked on by Netflix. And Ubisoft has not said anything about a new game for the series just yet.
