German news site WinFuture shared images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds, rendered using 3D design data. And it looks pretty much like its codename, “Bean”. The most obvious difference here, the shape aside, is the lack on an earbud stem on it, and the silicone tips that go on them. This will likely affect the passive noise cancelling ability of the buds.

Pics/renders based on actual 3D design data used to make them. These launch in a few months. In Evaluation phase right now, so design could still change. https://t.co/UIk6KaYHBh — Roland Quandt (@rquandt) April 4, 2020 Different looks aside, the supposed new-generation Samsung Galaxy Buds will come with two speakers inside. It will also have a microphone, as you’d expect. In terms of functionality, it should perform no different, and likely better, than the existing models. For now, there’s no word on battery life or pricing. That said, WinFuture says the “Beans” are now at the first Engineering Validation Testing stage. Based on this, it is claimed that it’s possible for them to appear later in the year, possibly alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20. (Source: WinFuture, Roland Quandt / Twitter)
