This was confirmed via a media invite from Samsung Malaysia that has just landed in our inbox. As you can see below, Galaxy Fold will be making its Malaysian debut on 3 May 2019.
It is indeed a rather interesting decision by Samsung to bring the device over to Malaysia as some might think that the complex nature of the device could mean limited release. Furthermore, it is also one of Samsung’s first 5G device but then again, the company does produce LTE variant for Galaxy Fold. During the global unveiling in San Francisco, Samsung stated that the Galaxy Fold has a starting price of USD 1,980 which equals to around RM 8,192. Hence, we looking forward to learning more about the device’s pricing in Malaysia.
