In addition to the ECG reader, Samsung has also brought back the rotating bezels that was missing from the first Galaxy Watch Active. That said, this is done with a twist, as the rotating dial is not physically there. Instead, there’s a touch sensitive strip where you expect to find the rotating dial. It even emits a sound to simulate the clicking of a physical dial.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes in two sizes. The larger, 44mm model comes with a 1.4-inch display and a 340mAh battery. On the other hand, the 40mm model comes with a 1.2-inch display and a 247mAh battery. Both models have a 360 x 360 resolution Super AMOLED screen, an Exynos 9110 chipset, 5ATM, IP68 and MIL-STD810G ratings, as well as 4GB of internal storage. In addition to the two sizes, there are also two distinct configurations for the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. One comes with LTE, which also has 1.5GB of RAM. The other only comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and 768MB of RAM. CNET reports that the LTE model will be priced at US$300 (~RM1255), while the Bluetooth model is comes with a price tag of US$280 (~RM1170). They will be made available starting 27 September, but Samsung Malaysia has not said anything yet about our local market. (Source: Samsung, CNET)
