To start, the Odyssey G9 is a 49-inch QLED display with a Dual QHD (5120×1440) resolution. It also comes with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and a 32:9 aspect ratio.

The Odyssey G9 also comes with support for G-Sync compatibility, as well as FreeSync 2. But what makes it most easily identifiable is its 1000R curvature, and what Samsung calls the infinity core lighting at the back.

While the Odyssey G9 only comes in one size, the Odyssey G7 has two different sizes, 32 inches and 27 inches. The reduction in size also comes with a reduction in resolution, down to the standard QHD. Most of the impressive specs of the Odyssey G9 can also be found here. At this point, one can only imagine what kind of price tag will accompany the Samsung Odyssey G9 and G7. The company did say that they will be available globally beginning Q2 of 2020. We’ll let you know when we hear more about the local pricing and availability details. (Source: Samsung)
