As per the advertisement on its official Facebook page, preorders began on 1 June and will continue until 14 June. The earbuds will be available in two colours, Black or Blue, and will retail for RM549. To sweeten the pot, customers who preorder the earbuds will also receive an exclusive RM100 JD Sports Gift Card, while stocks last. To recap, the WF-XB700 is clearly a watered down, more affordable version of Sony’s WF-1000XM3 TWS earbuds. Features include an IPX4 rating for water and dust resistance, plus Bluetooth 5.0 support.
Like its more premium sibling, the earbuds use a left and right relay to ensure stable connectivity between it and the phone, but sadly, it doesn’t come with support for Qualcomm aptX codec technology. But it does come with support for AAC and SBC. (Source: Sony via Facebook)
