According to SteamDB, the sale in question will be coming in on 28 January, after taking timezone differences into account. Steam is having its Lunar New Year sale a little earlier than the actual day itself, which starts on 1 February. While SteamDB attributes the source of the date as simply a leak, it’s not unreasonable to think that it came from the same source as before. Since this sale comes less than a month after the last one, which was the Winter Sale, chances are we’ll be seeing very similar deals. Which would be a chance for you to snag some of the stuff you were taking too long to decide whether to get or not.
— SteamDB (@SteamDB) January 17, 2022 To reiterate, the Steam Lunar New Year Sale is expected to start on 28 January. The expected end date is stated as 3 February, with timezones being what they are, it’s just as likely to last a day longer for us on this side of the globe. (Source: SteamDB via PCGamesN)
