In a response to our query, TM has subtly admitted that information regarding the throttle speed and add-on passes might have been out earlier than they have planned. Nevertheless, the company has confirmed that nothing has changed so far when it comes to unifi Basic. Here is the full statement, reproduced in its entirety: The new add-on passes and new throttle speed for our unifi Basic plan will arrive to you very soon. At the moment, our unifi Basic throttle speed still remains at 128 kbps and we do not offer any add-on passes. We will communicate from time to time and we seek your patience and understanding as we work towards providing you a better service. Then again, these are not exactly a pressing issue for such subscribers at the time being though since TM is providing them with uncapped and unlimited access until the middle of next month. Perhaps, maybe then we’ll hear again from the company.
