Vivo Malaysia has since followed up saying that the Vivo Nex 3 5G will be available for pre-order until 18 October. This can be done offline, or online via its official stores on Lazada, Shopee, as well as its own Vivo Store. While the company doesn’t explicitly say so, it implies that the phone will be available on shelves starting 19 October. ORIGINAL STORY (15 October / 1:05 PM): The Vivo Nex 3 5G was unveiled globally last month, but back then there was no word on its local price and availability. Vivo Malaysia has since sent out media invitations for the phone’s local launch. A retailer has also unveiled what is likely the price for the phone. When it appears on our shores, the Vivo Nex 3 holds quite a few distinctions. It will be one of the few phones in the country to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. In addition to that, it will also likely be the first phone with 5G support officially launched in the country. Other key features include what the company calls Waterfall FullView, which is claimed have 99.6% screen-to-body ratio. That said, the display comes in only at Full HD+ resolution. The 16MP front-facing camera pops up from the top. It also features a vapour chamber cooling system for its innards. As mentioned earlier, Vivo Malaysia has announced the launch date of the Nex 3 5G, which falls on 17 October. As for its price, local retailer DirectD has pegged it at RM3899. All that’s left is to find out when it will be on shelves, which we’ll know more about later this week. (Source: DirectD / Facebook)
