To quickly recap, the Samsung Exynos 980 SoC chipset consists of two Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, while a Mali-G76 MP5 GPU powers its 3D processing and gaming capabilities. It also features an integrated 5G modem and an NPU for processing AI related tasks. It’s worth noting that the chipset supports camera modules with resolutions of up to 108MP and 4K video recording at 120fps.
Based on the silhouette in the teaser image provided by Vivo, it seems that the X30 may feature a large notch-less, all-screen display and could sport a pop-up selfie camera similar to the Vivo V15 or V17. Aside from the chipset and its silhouette in the teaser image, not much has been revealed in regards to the phone’s actual specifications. Vivo also revealed that the X30 will be making its official debut in December 2019. Hopefully the company will gradually provide more information regarding its features as the launch date draws closer. (Source: Weibo via GSMArena)
