While the company offers more than 11,000 locations for users to top-up their TnG balance, some reload points such as convenience stores or post offices will charge a fee for the service. On the other hand, zero-fee locations include select supermarkets, fuel stations, banks, pharmaceuticals, and TnG operated centers and kiosks. Fortunately, Waze now lists these zero-fee TnG reload points in the app and also provides road users the ability to quickly navigate towards these locations when required. Touch ‘n Go stated in its press release that the inclusion of this new feature in Waze is to bring further convenience to its users, thus allowing them to plan their journeys and ensure that their TnG cards have sufficient balance for their trips.
The company also stated plans to include other TnG related navigation features to Waze such as directing its users to TnG RFID Fitment Centers, as well as surcharge-free TnG supported parking sites. However, Touch ‘n Go did not specify when the new features will be implemented to the application.
